Jitter Click Test
How fast is your jitter clicking?
What is Jitter Clicking?
The Technique
Jitter clicking is a technique where you tense your forearm and wrist so your finger vibrates rapidly on the mouse button. Done right, it reaches 9–14 CPS — roughly double normal clicking speed.
How to Jitter Click
Grip the mouse lightly, tense your forearm (not your fingertip), let the vibration travel to your index finger, and aim while clicking from your wrist. Start with short 5-second bursts before attempting the full 10-second test.
Jitter vs Butterfly vs Drag
Jitter clicking uses one finger and muscle tension (9–14 CPS). Butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on one button (12–18 CPS). Drag clicking rolls the finger across the button for 20+ CPS but needs a suitable mouse.
FAQ
Is jitter clicking safe?
In short sessions, yes — but take breaks; sustained tension can strain your wrist. Stop if you feel pain.
Is jitter clicking allowed in Minecraft?
Most servers allow it; some cap CPS around 12–16. Check your server rules.
Why is my jitter CPS low?
Tension placement matters — the vibration should come from the forearm, not fingertip pushing.
What is a good jitter CPS?
9+ CPS sustained over 10 seconds is solid; 12+ is excellent.
